Artifact 1:

This item is from nixontapes.org. This artifact represents the tapes that Nixon created of himself and the entire White House that were later subpoenaed by attorney Jaworski which caused Nixon to resign. 

Artifact 2: 


This image came from utexas.edu. This is the very first note that Bob Woodward wrote about the Watergate case when he went to the trial of the five burglars and learned that one of them, Baker, worked for the CIA and Woodward realized that something Fishy was going on. 


Artifact 3: 


This image came from archives.gov. This is the constitution of The United States of America this story is all about the freedom of speech and of the press and the importance as well as the power of that constitutional right. 

Artifact 4:


This image came from nixonlibrary.gov. This is the check of Kenneth H Dahlberg who donated to the reelection committee for president Nixon and whose money was put into a secret fund under the control of John Mitchel, Nixon's Attorney General, who used that money to pay one of the burglars, Baker. 

Artifact 5: 


This image came from fineartamerica.com. During the burglary scene at Watergate, there was a picture of John F Kennedy on the wall in the room that was being burglarized this created a sense of foreboding since JFK was a democrat and it gave the allusion that the Democrats were watching the foul deeds of the Republicans.

This image is from youtube.com. This phone represents that type of technology that was utilized by Woodward and Bernstein to investigate Watergate, though these two men had minimal means they got the job done.

Artifact 7:

This image is from luatkhoa.org. This is the first article that Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward wrote on the Watergate investigation.

Artifact 8:


This image can be found on nyc.gov. This artifact represents the taxis that Woodward went in and out of to make sure that he was not followed to his meeting with Deep Throat, his inside source.
